The field phase of ap2017 takes place at the same time as the KOAB project. It is possible to use a uniform cover letter for the letter of invitation. Also the preparatory steps for the survey (e.g., updating, assigning an access code) run analog. The core questionnaire of the AP2017 can be used as a questionnaire for all graduates. It has a very high compatibility to the KOAB questionnaire. Optional, and HEI-specific questions of KOAB can be added to the ap2017 questionnaire.
No. Survey data of each single HEI are incorporated in the nationwide results, given that they are a part of the AP2017 sample. The national survey results are published only in a form, that the identification of institutions and persons will not be possible.
No, BMBF will not have access to raw data and results will be provided only in a form, that the identification of institutions and persons will not be possible.
At the end of the questionnaire, graduates who are a part of the sample of ap2017 are asked for their voluntary consent to participate in the second round/wave of the ap2017. This later survey will be carried out by the partners of the joint research project. The planned later waves will be coordinated with the KOAB project to avoid subsequent parallel surveys.
